Only $10 a month for 1 TB of cloud storage is pretty darn impressive. Google has now jumped to the front of the pack for the best deal on cloud storage. They clearly aim to eviscerate their competitors like Dropbox who charge $9.99 a month for a 100 GB. As Dave Smith at ReadWrite points out, this is going to be great for consumers and developers. The entire cloud storage industry will have to lower prices in order to compete with Google now. This will be a great thing for all consumers in the long run.
